Suryodaya Foundation is led by a group of individuals driven by a deep desire to contribute to social development and nation building by inspiring local community participation, using cost effective innovative and sustainable means and work with academic institutions, corporations, other NGO's and Government bodies to further the cause of water discovery and conservation. Suryodaya Foundation's Managing Trustee Anuradha Paudwal's name resonates with the melodious spell of Indian film music from the 70's to 90's and is a leading name in Indian traditional devotional music globally. She was inspired to learn music by listening to the Bhagvad Geeta. She has sung more than 10000 soundtracks in almost all major Indian languages. She has won the National Award and 4 consecutive Filmfare awards for her playback singing. Her other prestigious citations and awards include the Citizens award from the Prime Minister, Mahila Shiromani award from President of India, Maharashtra Gaurav Samman, felicitation in House of Commons UK, United Nations Cultural Ambassador Award, Lata Mangeshkar Award, Suvarnaratna Award, the most most current Padmashri Award and a Doctorate in Music from DY Patil University, Kolhapur.

At the peak of her movie-singing career, she ventured into recording important religious Indian scriptures and devotional music. Her aim has been to bring to the forefront, the spiritual literature of India and make it accessible to common man through simple beautiful melodies. A milestone in her career has been the Ganga Aarti which is combination of social and religious genres, where daily morning and evening thousands throng the Har Ki Pauri to participate in the Ganga ji Aarti, singing to her tunes. Many religious and important works from major Indian faiths sung by her are extremely popular among listeners all over the world.

Since early 80's, she has been contributing to numerous philanthropic activities like to the Neonatal ward at Nanavati hospital, Mumbai, Sonography Center at Cooper Hospital, Mumbai, heart operations for under-privileged in collaboration with Dr. Nitu Mandke to name a few activities. In recent years, she has devoted herself to the cause of Water Conservation in Drought stricken areas in Marathwada and Nanded in Maharashtra. She has been an ambassador of Indian culture and heritage globally.

Shri Raj Shekhar Joshi, alumnus of IIT Roorkee with degree in Computer Science has around three decades of leadership experience in various Indian and global companies in various parts of India and abroad as President, Senior Vice President, Director, entrepreneurial co-founder among many roles. He pioneered technology based learning programs in alliance with top Indian academic institutes like IIT's and IIM's. He is past member of National Working Committee of Electronics and Software Promotion Council, promoted by Ministry of Commerce, GOI, Member of Global Electronic Publishing Committee of a global publishing company among others. He has authored articles in Technology Publications and also contributed to thoughts of usage in technology in judicial reforms.

He hails from Uttarakhand and is actively involved in social causes specially in education like rebuilding of dilapidated schools, cleanliness infrastructure rebuilding and educational drive in schools, improvement in educational delivery in Uttarakhand and has been involved at national level for cause of education at policy level through large non-governmental educational organizations, communication of nationalist thoughts, and water harvesting and conservation drives. He is currently based in Mumbai.

Kavita Paudwal Tulpule is a Playback singer and devotional Singer from Mumbai who has released more than 40 CD's in various Indian languages. She is also a director at Sirona Diagnostics a multi speciality medical services centre owned by her husband Niteen Tulpule. She is a post graduate from New York University in media studies and has been a producer on TV Asia, a US based TV channel, worked and performed her music at the United Nations, done playback singing for several bollywood movies been a judge on contemporary music reality shows on mainstream channels like Zee TV Indian. She currently travels in India and all over the world for her music concerts. She currently lives in Mumbai with her husband and two children.

Niteen Ashok Tulpule is the owner and founder of Sirona Diagnostics - A Multi Specialty Imaging and Medical Centre in Mumbai. He has 15 Years of experience in the Finance Industry. At G.E Capital ( private equity group), he was responsible for executing and originating high profile corporate transactions. Prior to this Niteen worked as a director in KPMG where he spearheaded their Technology Vertical and was involved in several high value Private Equity Transactions. He has worked with several MNC's, large Indian corporates and leading Global Private equity groups. He currently lives in Mumbai with his family.

ShrikantChauhan has been born and brought up in Akola. He did his MA LLB from Amravati University. He was Professor in English. He went on to own a business by the name of Shriroop Group in Pune.
His interest in the social field inspired him to take up activities like Water Conservation, Plantation, Divyang Welfare, Rural and Tribal Development etc.

He also has been a consultant on water conservation in various universities.

Springs found at various kundas in Mahur

While doing desilting of kundas, number of springs were found. About 1,00,000 Cu. Mt. work of desilting was done. This will increase storage capacity by 100 million liters per year. Water recharge increased by 300 million liters per year.
